- updated Joomla to 3.8.3 version after quickstart package clean installation
- Administration language: tested with Italian and English
- browsers: tested with Google Chrome 63.0.3239.84 and Microsoft Edge 41.16299.15.0 (64bit)

Last action:
- Deleted all categories in the RealEstateManager component

Issue;
- New category creation doesn't succeed

Symptom:
- clicking "Apply" or "Save and Close" button with filled fields doesn't have any effect (the page doesn't reload). Only "Close" (without saving) is active

Notes:
- leaving requested field/fields blank makes alert popup be (correctly) displayed

About the issue in the subject, I'd been able to add/modify categories directly in the associated DB, from phpMyAdmin.

By the way, the "_rem_main_categories" record structure in the DB is quite different from what could be guessed when "New" or "Modify" option has been chosen in the REM component menu item "Categories", as there are many fields not listed/used.

Also, the image position param couldn't be set, as there isn't any option near the label.

If current structure not good for you, you may order from us any changes or you may download from us Content Contraction Kit component ordasoft.com/cck-content-construction-kit-for-joomla.html and create any structure as you wish.

For add/show image in category you need " to go Content->Media Manager.
There create a folder stories and load your pictures into it"
