In Joomla Real estate exist field: "Listing type", for this field possible only next values

- - not selected
- for sale (you may rename with language manager)
- for rent (you may rename with language manager)
- for request (you may rename with language manager)

But you can't add new, because "Listing type" - is special field, we connect with it Rent or Sale workflow. And possibility show "Rent or Buy request" forms

when "Listing type" set as
- "for rent" - item be accessible for "booking" and you will see in every so item the "calendar", and all "rent requests" - you see in Rent Request manager
- "for sale", and all "Buy requests" - you see in Buy Request manager
- "for request", and all "requests" - you see in Request manager

You may rename "Listing type" with help Language manager
