I changed the currency in the component but it does not accommodate large figures(eg. 1000000000) when i increase the price to about 1 billion, the search stops working and the component stops working. please how could i rectify this to enable the component accommodate large figures.

Please i need urgent help because i have been frustrated.

Hello,

For price we use "price varchar(14)"

You need go to you database and for table #__rem_houses - replace price definition

it didnt solve u the issue. when the figure is little, it works perfectly. but when the figure is much it does not work perfectly.

no. please tell me the procedure to enable the component accept figures up to 1000000000 and still displays normal on the front end and will not be showing blank pages.

I am sorry, but procedure - need full recheck site. We did that with other values, so you will need new recheck

Please go to Joomla global setting and turn on max error reporting, every time
when see " problems of the site going blank"
