I have test my site in developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
Without module 90 point, with module 33 point!!!!
Can I solve?
I've bought paid version, but if module slows down too much the site is unusable. Is it possible to request a refund?

Because I also notice the page is slower with the Gallery extension enabled.

For Joomla Social Comment and Sharing module(ordasoft.com/joomla-social-comments-and-sharing-module.html), we(you) may do very less for optimization script.
There all scripts go from social networks and they very heavy (FaceBook most heavy)

In Joomla Responsive Gallery (ordasoft.com/os-image-gallery.html) - all more simply.
There ll go from your site. So you self may configure all.

But right now for high your site speed:
- set so small Thumbnail image size - as you can
- set not very many images in one gallery(one page) - we have clients who have more 1000 images per gallery
- check gallery "Load More" settings
- check Joomla Site optimization settings
