Hi guys,
as far as we know, you do not use this parameter "model - A" into the Google API, so "If omitted, then nmt is used".
Please, We need to be sure that running SEF Translate we are automatically using the Text Translation feature with Neural Machine Translation for all available languages:

- Google Translate - seem running with all "from Eglish to any languages" NMT model A by Google Cloud Translation API. Can you confirm?

- And also, at the same time, for the Google quotas reasons, that we can exclude the Language Detection feature that, as far as we understand, should not running with SEF Translate. Right?

- Microsoft Translate - seem running with 22 languages, but bidirectional. Can you confirm?

Thanks for help on understanding

Hello

Please, We need to be sure that running SEF Translate we are automatically using the Text Translation feature with Neural Machine Translation for all available languages:
I am sorry, we show to you phrase from google documentation. If this incorrect how we may check this ?
Please additional ask from Google Support.

Code:

 - Google Translate - seem running with all "from Eglish to any languages" NMT model A by Google Cloud Translation API. Can you confirm?

Google translate run from YOUR language (this may be any language) to other language!!!

- And also, at the same time, for the Google quotas reasons, that we can exclude the Language Detection feature that, as far as we understand, should not running with SEF Translate. Right?
In sef transalte - you self set where from Google will do tramslation

- Microsoft Translate - seem running with 22 languages, but bidirectional. Can you confirm?
We use Google and Microsoft API, What we may reply to you if you self can check this ?
Please write to Microsoft API support

Regards
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
thanks. Please, Can you give us the two Google / Microsoft API names with their versions that are running right now in SEF Translate ?
So we can ask through their support team and report here the answers.

Google translate run from YOUR language (this may be any language) to other language!!!
No, as you can see through the link I posted, seem that, till now, the NMT Translations are performed only starting from English...

Dear

Google / Microsoft API names with their versions
What you mean ?

Code:

No, as you can see through the link I posted, seem that, till now, the NMT Translations are performed only starting from English...

For now in Google and Microsoft API all very simply you give text to it and say translate from language and translate to language,
If you not set source language for translation will very bad.

I not know why you think NMT Translation translation from English will better than translation from Spanish if English not your native language ?

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Google / Microsoft API names with their versions
What you mean ?

To contact the Google Translate and Microdoft Translate support and make questions I'll have to tell them what is the API I am using (name of the API and its version)

I not know why you think NMT Translation translation from English will better than translation from Spanish if English not your native language ?
- Because Google Translate, right now, perform NMT only from English
- Because we have native translaters for English, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Italian, Brazilian and other languages...
