Hi guys,
we know you had problems in past with AkeebaBackup and would better perform backups directly with CPanel.

Please, Where and how cache is saved ?

Hello

In Seftranslate we have option "cache_save_location"
And depend of it we save Cache to Files (your site /components/com_seftranslate/cache/) or to DataBase

Hi Andrew,
thanks for the explanation. Please, What is the difference ? When is better use Files and when Database ?
Are there differences on site / translating performance ?

In a point of view that growing up the portal we could need to switch from an automatic SEF Translater translation to a manually Joomla Multilanguage (so the first step would be to "import" all the automatic translated text into joomla multilanguage),
What is the best choice ? Save translation in files or database ?

Many Thanks for support

Speed depend from hosting.

We created switch: save to Files and save to Database, because some hostings have file sistem limits other Database size limits.
