Joomla Translate module support

Hi I installed Sef Translate module and component.
After that I had strange problem with sef.
My web site: w w w . name of website . c o m became: w w w . name of website . c o m / it
when I changed language became w w w . name of website . c o m /it/eng

I tried to remove component and module but the probleme still there.
Ho I can resolve the problem?

Hello Tony,

Our component SET Translater, sef mean search engine friendly .

When you configure it as described in that component help page for Redirect mode. You was need configure htaccess file. That file and add for every your language - language prefix at site name likef "fr" - for France, "ru" for "Russian" ....

And next self component use that prefix for understand to what language you wish translate site. Also that prefix help for google - add new urls with hew languages to your site.

If you no need that - you need remove changes what you added in htaccess file, and turn off redirect mode in sef Translate module.
You may use only aJax mode

The correct way to have Seo is:

1) w w w . name_of_the_site/IT/etc.
2) w w w . name_of_the_site/ENG/etc.
3) w w w . name_of_the_site/FR/etc.

my problem when I click on some flag is:

1) w w w . name_of_the_site/IT/ENG/etc.
1) w w w . name_of_the_site/IT/FR/etc.
1) w w w . name_of_the_site/IT/IT/etc.
How can replace the seo setting ?
