Issue - "Select a Language" phrase 1 Year, 3 Months ago

Hi guys,
PHP 7.4.33 & 8.1.13 + Joomla 4.2.6 + Joomla Translate Commerce 6.1.1
- Component > Settings > Website Main Language: the default language which must coincide with the default Joomla Frontend Language
- Module > Language List: I have to add also the default language in this list

Now, the "dropdown" is shown with a "Select a Language" phrase at the top.

Considering that:
A - When the module show "Select a Language", a language is yet selected, it is the default one.
B - The default language is also listed when the dropdown is opened.
C - to click on "Select a Language" is the same as to click on the default language.

Practically, "the default language" is the "select a language". It has no sense to show the "Select a Language" option and it is not user friendly for site users.

Joomla 4 multilingual standard module selector shows only the languages available, there is no any "Select a Language" phrase option (this is true also for other translators).

The Module dropdown should always show the flag/language word of the current language (also the default one) and should never show the "Select a Language" phrase.
If necessary, the default language of the site could be highlighted by simply writing it in bold within the list (for example). Just it.

From my point of view, this is the biggest Joomla Translate Module limit.
Please, Can you add this "fixing" into your roadmap for next release ?

Hi guys,
PHP 7.4.33 & 8.1.22 + Joomla 4.4.0 + Joomla Translate Commerce 6.1.10
- Component > Settings > Website Main Language: the default language which must coincide with the default Joomla Frontend Language
- Module > Language List: I have to add also the default language in this list

- Module > List/Plain text/Text with flag: Text List with Flags (with the "Dropdown List with Flags" is still shown the "Select a Language" phrase at the top)

The Module is running as described above, it is showing the flag/language word of the current language (also the default one) and is not showing the "Select a Language" phrase, perfect.
The selected language (default or not) is highlighted by simply writing it in bold within the list, okay.

Now, if I click on another language all is run perfectly.
If I'm back to Spanish (my frontend default language) the module is back to the default Spanish language, without performing any translations, very good.

But, if I'm yet in my Default Spanish language I can still click on Spanish into the module and Joomla Translate is going to translate the Spanish page into Spanish language, while the Spanish translations should never be performed, the default language should always been shown.

You can test it here: Https://test1.egulp.net
Pay attention to the Login module into the Offcanvas position at the top left. As you can see I'm using the international words "Email" as username placeholder and "Login" for the button.
As you can see when Joomla Translate perform the translation over there they are forced into translations:
Email > Correo electrónico
Login > Acceso

Maybe one solution to avoid this issue would be to switch unclickable the selected language into the Module (whatever it is) by using "translate-def-lang" / "translate-cur-lang" classes.
Or, Do you have a safer /simpler mode ?

Please, Can you confirm and help here ?
