MediaLibary Component Support

First I would like to say thank you for a great component. This fulfills everything that I was looking for.

Right now though, I am having a few issues with the display side.

If you take a look at the above link, there are 32 DVDs in the category - however I can only show 10 DVDs per page and for some reason, there is no page navigation links at the bottom of the page.

The second problem is when you click on a link for a title. The Joomla wrapper itself isn't processed - so it only shows the unformatted data for the title.

I am using:
Joomla 1.5.11
Medialibrary 1.5.3 Basic
PHP 5.2.9

As opposed to following up to your reply on the Joomla site, I figured I would work over here.

- If you real check component and look at "media manager" and at "category manager" - you will found very good ability for reordering. Now you can do ordering as for media in some category, also for these categories. Also you have very extended category manager with possibility create complicated tree for category.

I was actually thinking of a dynamic sorting capability which would allow the users to reorder the videos based on name, rating or other function. You will see that often on commercial sites that allow you to sort by price as opposed to the default setting.

It isn't really a big thing though, was just a thought.

- Also If you real see component - you will can find Tabs for setting - where you can found parameters for set - how much item show at one page.

I had missed the ability to set how many items to show per page - however I still am looking for the navigation for the next/previous page to display the rest of the items which are over how many are shown on the first page.

- For don't lost Joomla wraper - please recheck yours template design. For default template design all work good.

Currently I am using the default template JA_Purity without any changes. I also have not installed any additional plugins on the site - so there shouldn't be any conflicts there either.

None of the header and footer information is present in the output of Joomla, it appears to only be rendering the component portion. I do not think a template issue would cause that, however I could be mistaken.

Like I said in my review on the Joomla website, it is a good piece of programming. If I can get all the bugs sorted out, I plan on ordering the professional version of it too.

Please check in Setting frontend "Page items" parameters. Why for you don't work "no page navigation" - need check.

I've gone through and added a bunch more DVDs (over 100 now between the different categories. I also switched the number of movies displayed per page to 50 - however I still have probably another 300 or 400 movies to add...so the navigation will still remain a problem.

What I am looking for is something like this (arrow pointing to what I mean):


That way I won't have to have all the items on the first page and can have it set up with a more manageable number (20 or so would be good).
