MediaLibrary Wishlist

How about a generic media type so no ISBN or any other form of code is needed to enter an item. Such as Newsletters, Photographs.

I also vote for this topic. In our "library" we are going to need to lend Toys, office supplies, and equipment.

If you (the author) don't intend to implement this, could you explain in pseudo code how it could be accomplished? I am a programing, and might be willing to implement this feature. But any insights you can give to help me get started would be appreciated.

I am sorry, that not so simply as I am wish.
For implementation every media - we was set self fields set, after that we connected that with Amzon type.

But we have MEDIa - so connected only with media types, for every new type need much work.
But code open - so you may all check and recreated, or you may order custom version from ordasoft support form

Please check OS Media Libarary software as start was connected to fetch info from Amazon,
Amazon divide self media to:
- books
- game
- video
- Music

So in Media Library - we set this connection.

If you no need connedct to these media types.
You need check OS website builder there you not connected to anything. And there you may create any "type of content" with any fields or layouts.

Please check website builder templates witch we created with help our Website Builder. So there you simply may add your "media type" with your fields
