OrdaSoft template Support

I am using the Tools Template and am having a problem with the Virtuemart Products module. I would like to have multiple instances on the home page of this module so that I can display featured products from more than one category. However, when I duplicate the module and create unique instance/settings for each, both modules display the same exact products. I ensured the settings are correct in the module and the products.

I have read other posts on Google about this. Is the module that you have packaged an old module? Is there an update you can provide?

Joomla Version: 2.5.9
Virtuemart Version: 2.0.20a

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately we cannot provide the FTP information due to security policies we have.

However, since this aspect of our site is exactly the same the template, you can simply duplicate that module in your environment, change the category for one, and you will experience the same thing.

I tried to repeat this problem:
1. I cloned VM - Featured products module
2. Set different settings for him (Display: Best Sales, Category: Sanders etc.)

On frontend show different products in each VM - Featured products module

I think the problem in next, visit at Admin area Virtuemart -> Products and you will see products has Multiple categories. Configure the product to be displayed only in one category.

Thank you for taking the time to test this. I have read a few threads on this topic that were unsolved. I actually made a human error and overlooked a setting in the module. There is a drop down that is a yes/no for using categories or not. I assumed that if you select a category, it was obvious that you want to use categories. Once I selected Yes, everything worked fine.
