Hi, how can I customise the slider image and replace with own one. I have not found any instructions or placeholders for the big picture in the slider.

Hello,
In order to change the background in block you will need to create your image and rename it to slide3.jpg, then you need to go your site/sites/all/themes/your theme/images and replace staying there a picture with the same name. Then your picture will be background on slider.
