Dear Andrew,
Thanks for the prompt feedback as I have been away so could not follow up immediately. Anyway, to answer your first question of "Reproducing the problem" I am not sure what the best way would be because this "Page" only seems to pop up if (for example) you were logged in as a user then got kicked out of Joomla without logging out properly using the "Logout" button. Or (as a second example) if when you try to login with a bad username and password (that is the page I am cutting and pasting for you below).
The problem is that the words "Username" and "Password" and the two boxes/buttons are in a very faint color and I need to get them a bit brighter.
Now for the words that has to do with the "Font" as if I change the font to something else the text become darker (like I want it) but the problem is that the "Raleway" font is s nice font and I prefer to keep that font. I could live with the font being faint but when you try to type in the "Buttons/Boxes" the font does not appear at all. Thus if I could change the color of the boxes/buttons then it would make it possible to keep the Raleway font.
To answer your second question: Yes Template.css and Style.css both exist and I have tried tracking the exact color for those buttons but to no success. When you use firebug/inspect code it points me to some "Bootstrap" file (which is wrong obviously). Anyway, after re-inspecting I have changed the text color on lines4784 of Style.css and I think if I can change the "Hover" color" of the boxes that will do the trick. I guess I have to check the Backend template options in Joomla admin for that.
FINALLY:
Anyway, something else I have just noticed. I plugged a laptop into the network and accessed the site but the Main Menu (the 3 yellow bars at the top right on the Singer_v1 template) does not show up?
When you view the site using a "Desktop" computer it all works fine but from a Laptop the Menu is missing. I have tried on IE, Firefox, GoogleChrome and Opera and all exhibit the same behaviour (no menu showing)? Would you know why that is and how to fix this? I do not have a mobile device so have not checked it that happens there to, but it should show when using a laptop as there is not much difference with a laptop and a desktop when using a browser.
Hopefully this helps explains the problems a bit better.
Thanks
Bami
I have checked the Template options but do not see anything specific for Mobile or laptops so I am a bit confused on how to resolve this Menu-bar missing challenge.
