I would like to have two user groups - one group for free content and another for paid content.
I would like the paid user to also be able to access the free content.
How should I structure my simple membership user groups? Is the paid group a subgroup of the free group? Or should there be two separate groups? Thanks.

Hello
In OrdaSoft joomla membership there all simply. You create 2 groups Free and Pro,
and in settings Simple Membership please set "Default group" to Free.
And Please check "Joomla User Groups" where to you will connect "Simple Membership User Groups".
As example:
- Free Membership group you connect with Joomla Registered user group
- And Pro Membership group you connect with Joomla Registered user group and Joomla Pro User group.
Joomla User group you may create as with help Simple membership and With help Joomla Users Manager.
So all content which you publish to Joomla Registered User - will see and your Pro members
Main your configure will with content.
In every Joomla contect you may set who may access to this content. So for free select Registered, for Pro - Pro.
