VehicleManager component support

I was wondering if I could tap into some of the experts minds on here?

I am looking to build a site for a client who wants a vehicle classifieds website, where users can login and for a small price they can advertise their vehicle to sell.

However, my client specifically wants the user (seller) to be able to advertise the vehicle using simple drop down forms rather than typing in text.

Does anyone know of a good solution for this?
