how can i search in a specific category, without put custom code in the search php file?

Dear Constantinos ,
You can use search module or search in component and set category you need and find car in it.
Check attached image.
What you mean by search in a specific category? How it must work for You?

i want to search in a specific category, based on the page i am.
(have pages based on categories and search module on every page)
i don't want the user select the category.
Is that possible without customized the php file from the
mod_vehicle_manager_search_pro module

Hello,
No, it is not possible.
It is search module, not filter.
You can not have pages based on categories and search module on every page and that module make search under this page only.
For this need make a lot of changes.

i manage this with another way.
Another question,
how can i order my results with vehicleid, (not with name as is now), from the mod_vehicle_manager_search_pro.
I try from the vehiclemanager.php but....not manage...
Notice that for the alone category i manage that and my results order by vehicleid.

For this need find special solution. In default settings there is no such features.
