VehicleManager component support

Greetings. I'm new to Vehicle Manager. Searched the forum but didn't find answers for this topic. If covered elsewhere, please point me to an appropriate thread. Thanks in advance.

I'm developing a Joomla site for a nonprofit corporation which will be selling and renting wheelchair ramp and lift equipped minivans and related paratransit vehicles. Reviews online (especially at the Joomla Extension website) convinced us that VM will meet our needs. We have determined that our server meets all VM installation requirements. Since we're nonprofit and funding is tight, we want to test the Basic (free) version before buying the Pro version.

Questions:

1) Once we've installed the Basic version, can we upgrade easily to Pro without loosing the vehicles and data we've already created?

2) Is there a price list somewhere in case we need to hire Ordasoft staff to help out if we get into a bog? Does Ordasoft offer discounts to nonprofit organizations?
