VehicleManager component support

This is the second time this has happened. I have installed the autodealership template with the vehicle manager component. After several changes to the component in the administrative area the component starts returning the error "syntax error, unexpected 's' (T_STRING)". After this, the website gives a 404 - page not found error. I saw that someone posted the exact same thing last year. Not sure if there are others but I really need help on this.
