BookLibary Component Support

Hello,

I’m planning to build a website to sell books by several authors, each of whom has multiple books.

The books are available in several digital formats.

Customers can purchase a book and either download it or read it on the website.

Access to purchased books is unlimited.

Is it possible to implement this using your Book Library component?

Questions:

1. What payment systems can be used to pay for books?
2. Is integration with HikaShop possible for purchases?
3. Can only the administrator upload books and manage payments, or can each author do so as well?

Yes, you may use Book Library for that.
BUT, if you want sell book on yours website - you will need:
- or also install Virtue Mart ( with help Virtue Mart component)
- or you may sell with Amazon (book library permit sell with help amazon.com)
First please download free version of Book library and check.

But we advice create website with help OrdaSoft Joomla CCK.
There you may create any website type. there you may not use additional components.
Yes BookLibrary simply, but CCK give to you more possibility.
CCK besser start from som Joomla CCK template

if Book Libray: All what support Amazon or VirtueMart
if CCK: Paypal, Stripe, 2checkOut

2. Is integration with HikaShop possible for purchases?
Not, But in BookLibrary and CCK - you may in Book dedails add link for product in HikaShop

3. Can only the administrator upload books and manage payments, or can each author do so as well?
Upload book yyou may permit for every, but Payment configure only administrator.
