Now it's April. Are the any news?

Just verified: com_booklibrary_PRO_2_0_2010_12_30 doesn't install in J! 1.6.1 . I'm getting a blank screen after clicking on install.

Sorry, but what shall I get from this? I know that BL doesn't support J! 1.6 now, but when will it? In the last post before mine, you wrote about end of February. Now it's early April. Will BL 2 support Joomla! 1.6? If yes, when will it be available? I don't want a date, but an estimated timeframe.

After taking our money, the least we can expect is as serious answer.

Best regards

I am sorry, Book library free component and we try create it more more best. So we wish not only move it to Joomla 1.6 - we also try add to it some new features.

Sorry - all that ask time and money. You may do some donation and we will more soon move BL - to Joomla 1.6 - with that other user also will took it more soon.

If you check we said: "May be end February", but we not said "Exactly at some date will release".
There are very much other work what need do.
What I can said now: at this month new version not appear(very much need do yet).

Thanks,

I am sorry, Book library free component

Wrong, only BL-Basic is free; I bought Book library Pro in January, which isn't. So asking for a donation is, at least irritating if not provocative.

Before ordering, I checked the forum and there was an official answer from OrdaSoft that BL is compatible with J! 1.6. Now I have to realize that it isn't.

Open source is all about trust. How can I trust someone who gives such signals?

Maybe I should have known. When ordering I added several enhancements to BL-Pro only to find out that I received them twice. The answer to my question why I received them two times was that they were included free with BL-Pro. When placing the order, there was no indication for that. So I payed for something that would actually be free to me. And, to make it worse, instead of being offered a refund, I just got a " ". To me this reads: "Another idiot we got!"

Tell me, how shall I trust OrdaSoft?

Btw.: Signing a message "OrdaSoft team" is good for making no-one responsible, but a specific name would be much more trustworthy.

Best regards
