Hello,
we have a partial success as I could solve the mystery of the missing books. Almost all of them had "0" as ISBN, as these books don't have an ISBN. When I changed the values in the XML file, all books were imported.
Now to the mixed up categories. When you import my XML file, you will find e.g. the following mixes:
"P-03-02-Freiburg" is now a root category. It should have "P-03-Baden-Württemberg" as a parent, which should have "P-Bücher" as parent.
same with other "P-03..." categories.
All of the categories starting with "P-02-..." should have "P-02-Bayern" as parent, They don't.
And so on...
Hope that helps,
regards,
HH

Hello HH,
I not know what version book library you use.
If free please download last book library version and update below file
{your site}administrator/components/com_booklibrary/admin.booklibrary.class.impexp.php
and try import again
Please backup old
if you use other version - please send to us your order details
Thanks,

Sorry, which lines should I update in the file?
I see nothing attached.
Regards, HH
PS, it is the free version. As I work for a non-profit-organization serving the common good, I am strictly limited to free software.
Edit: Sorry, I mistranslated your last posting. I tried the new download an it worked!
The only problem left is that the ordering of the categories is mixed up, the subcategory-parent-relations are corrected now.
I think I can tweak the code to display the categories alphabetically, so this shouldn't be a real problem.
Thanks!
Regards,
HH
