Joomla.org - not support joomla2.xx
So, we not tested CCK(Content construction kit ordasoft.com/cck-content-construction-kit-for-joomla.html ) with Joomla 2.xx.
It may work but may not work
And I can't recomend to you old version, because in last version CCK we added very many interesting features
