Please make sure that your image is optimized for Facebok share
developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/best-practices#images

If after optimizing images, you still have other image in sharing window, you can use option Xpas in Social Comments and Sharing.

For this you should do following:
1. Install some Xmath extension on your browser (We recommend FirePath for Mozilla Firefox)
2. With help of this extension copy the Xpath of image (Click right button of mouse on image -> Inspect in FirePath -> copy Xpath of image)
3. Insert this Xpath in Social Comments and Sharing.

This should help.

Thanks for your help, I'm not sure if it was an issue with the extension, or a conflict between my template (Joomla Bamboo) or my JCE Editor but I found my own solution.

The Facebook debug tool indicated that my code was also not providing the correct opengraph tags, ie: og:image. Therefore Facebook could not determine which image to use in the shared post so it selected one at random.

I discovered a post, www.dart-creations.com/joomla/joomla-tut...cards-to-joomla.html, that showed me how I could created a template override to add the correct meta properties for an og:image and with some editing and trial and error, I stripped the strings relating to Twitter and together with the Facebook debug tool, developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/, I now have the correct images posting to Facebook. Please note that it was necessary to debug each article URL in the Facebook debugger to make it work.

I hope this helps anyone else if they experience a similar issue.

Or for use in OrdaSoft social comments share module Xpath, you may user builtin in chrome browser feature.
Please
1. on some image which you which share, press "right button of mouse"
2. Select "Inspect"
3 in Inspect manager, press again on this image
4. select "Xpath" in content menu.
5. Next use this xpath in social comments share module
Please check attachment image

If you user our social comments share module for same content, as example for show cars in our car rental dealer software, one created XPath will good for all pages with cars
