If you correct set "Default site language" - in OrdaSoft Joomla Translate - and not set - "Auto detect language" all phrases which we send to Translate - we mark : Translate from so language to next language.

And yes if language.ini wrote with help English language, but default site language Spanish - Translate API may return error. Because that best translate language.ini - to site default language
