Taras,

Here you go,

here is the link:

www.mach5supply.com/

Current setup:
The "Dummy" menu item is "Line cards". There are 2 sub menus under it, "By Product" and "By Manufacturer" which are unpublished as you said to do earlier. As you can tell, clicking the "Dummy" menu item does not reveal the sub menus below it .

"Dummy" menu item "Line Cards" type = external URL, Link = #, published, location = "Top" menu
Sub menu menu item "By Product" type= external url , Link = to a .pdf file (links to it ok), parent = Line Cards, unpublished
Sub menu menu item "By Manufacturer" type= external url , Link = to a .pdf file (links to it ok), parent = Line Cards, unpublished

All a re located in the "Top" menu

"Top" menu module, published, "show sub menu items = yes

Hello,

Thanks for the link. We see menu Line cards, but 2 sub menus under it, as you said are unpublished. The "Dummy" menu item does not reveal the sub menus below it, because 2 sub menus under are unpublished. It is default setting of templates.

We do not see any problems. Maybe, we do not understand your question, please verify it.(what we must to fix)

P.S. You have a great site.

Thanks,
Taras

Yes, and if I publish the 2 sub menus they are always there , they do not drop down from the "Dummy" menu item. Look at the top your Ordasoft website. The menu behavior you have is the same as what I want. Your sub menus do not display until you hover over a main menu item, then the submenus appear. ... I want that same behavior!

Taras,

I stumbled around some more today and found that if I go to the module manager and select my "top" menu and change it's template position from "position-1" to "mainmenu" the sub menus now work! My "Top Menu" moved a little higher on the page and has different formatting which I'll change later. The only issue now is the sub menus appear when you hover on "Line cards" but you cannot select the sub menu items "By Product" and "By manufacturer". If you could follow this link to my home page and check it out and let me know how to fix them.

Thanks again,

Martin

Hello,

We can select the sub menu items "By Product" and "By manufacturer".

To improve your viewing, we can advise you pick up the submenu with help CSS and then the submenu will not disappear. (in file style.css on 149й change style from top:50px to 46px. You can find this file in folder "your site" - templates - your template - css - style.css)

If you have other questions, please ask.

Thanks,
Taras
