Search form layout 6 Years, 4 Months ago

Hello

I have a question about search form:

I'm trying to get a horizontal layout to search form in home page, like Eco Template. In Rental template (I'm using this template), i see horizontal layout in search results page (so, i think is possible,,,). Can i get it in home page?

PS: I change the position of module, but i get a "full width" result...

Thanks

Hello,

You can display the default search to homepage and select the module position, for example "Position: position-0 [ Style: xhtml outline]". To view available positions please add to the URL of the homepage "?tp=1".

Dear

I do it, but still looking full width

Search module is responsive module - it must adapt for screen width(for good look on any devices). In your case module position have 100% of template width.

It's possible? Search layout of "Nothing found" page is the layout i want in home...
Page with "Nothing found" also have modules positions. For this page, to check modules positions you may use "tp=1".
And next, in the "Joomla module manager" you need to add the "search module" to this "module position".

Hi

My search is in "brands" position... if i change the position, this module will desappear of home...

I check the "Nothing Found" page with tp=1 and created a custom html modue to call the position of the horizontal search form:

I tried:

{loadposition com_realestatemanager_nothing_found_house_01}

{loadposition com_realestatemanager_show_search_02}

{loadposition com_realestatemanager_show_search_01}

{loadposition com_realestatemanager_show_search_03}

{loadposition com_realestatemanager_show_search_04}

{loadposition location_map}

{loadposition com_realestatemanager_nothing_found_house_02}

No success...

Thanks
