Hello,

I entered sidebarright and sidebarleft in the templateDetails.xml and now it works, thank you very much!

we will update our template and will fix this error

This brings us back to the topic of updates: If you update the template and I simply reinstall it, then my CSS file would no longer be included, for example, and I would have to do it again. I wanted to ask you that. Since we found this error together and you wrote in the forum what needed to be changed, I didn't have to start from the beginning again. What are your thoughts on this?

Hello

sidebarright and sidebarleft
In last Joomla Blank template we fixed this

If you update the template and I simply reinstall it, then my CSS file would no longer be included

For that, BEFORE ANY Updates - we advice to our clients: "Please do backup" - with that you lost nothing important.
In Our Template we have possibility add custom.css file - we have't so file in our template - but we use it - if it exist - so you may add your custom styles to this file - so all yours style will exist after update

Hello,

You may create file "custom.css"in folder: "yours-website/templates/"and upload to this file all yours custom CSS styles and our template will use Styles from them

Is that why you don't want to have the CSS file "directly" in the template directory? So that it doesn't get lost in an update? Personally, I don't think this method is very practical, because you can't edit the CSS file in the browser and if one CSS file applies to all your templates, that doesn't mean that you can only use your template once per Joomla installation? And then I'll be called "OrdaSoft" forever.

Hello

as I remember - you now have custom.css in your template folder and all fork good!
So you may edit it from Joomla template edit manager

BUT - Yes - I not know: will in future Joomla REMOVe all files in template directory during update time.
So we give possibility have custom.css - not in template folder.

AND we advice to our clients: Please periodically do back up ! And please do backup before any update! With that you not lost nothing important.

Hello,

I'm currently very satisfied with your support and can imagine using your template long-term. I wanted to inform myself beforehand so I wouldn't lose the time I invested. But everything is fine at the moment.

you wrote in the forum what needed to be changed, I didn't have to start from the beginning again.

I wanted to suggest the forum posts so you can update the customized template yourself later.

Thank you for answering my questions so quickly!
