We are considering using your Vehicle Manager extension for a rent-a-boat service on our Joomla website. Before proceeding, we have a few questions:

1. Is it possible to configure Vehicle Manager to function as a boat rental system?
2. Does the extension support or include a booking calendar for reservations?
3. If a booking calendar is not included, is there an option to integrate one easily?
4. We plan to develop a custom payment plugin for the system. Will we be able to integrate our own payment solution seamlessly?


We will use joomla 3.10. PHP 7.4

First of all I advice use more new Joomla Version and more new PHP version - with that you will more possibilities now and less errors in future.

we have 2 Joomla boats templates:


Before they were created with help Our Vehicle Component:

The Vehicle Manager has Possibility rename any text constants, so you easy may rename fields like you need. And Vehicle Manager has "booking calendar for reservations".

But recently we rebuilt this Boats templates

with help Joomla CCK:


Joomla CCK also have "booking calendar for reservations"
and in CCK you easy may change not only field name, but also add/remove new field in every form.
When you Use Free Version on our Joomla CCK - you may import to yours website any our Free Template on CCK - with all forms and demo data.
When you Use Pro Version on our Joomla CCK - you may import to yours website any our Pro Template on CCK - with all forms and demo data.
With that you easy may start create - yours data.

4. We plan to develop a custom payment plugin for the system. Will we be able to integrate our own payment solution seamlessly?
Difficult say, now we support: PayPal, 2Checkout, Stripe
How will your payment plugin work ?
