I am sorry, what you mean under "research bar of joomla" ?
If you mean Joomla Search Plugins, I not see any plugins in Joomla for search through users
I may advice our Website Builder pro version.
There you may create "User Layout" - so there you may show any info from Joomla User. And also there you may create "search layout" for search through Joomla User.
Search " Joomla users", you may by fields which you added to "User profile" and through "custom fields" - which you added to Joomla User, with help Joomla interface.
