Hi. Thanks I did get the site running out of a back up. But I will try to upgrade it on a local server an see what happens.

Please advise if this problem has been resolved.

I have NOT upgraded my site from Joomla 3.7.4 because I am just too scared that it will be broken!

Are you comfortable now that Vehicle Manager 3.9 PRO on Joomla can be upgraded to Joomla 3.8.1 - and I see 3.8.2 has now been released!

Any special precautions that need to be taken?

before every update, please do full site backup(files and Database), so you will can return back
