Yes, I want to use your old component who bought.
I just want that he could work with Joomla new version.

Please correct the error so that your component can work

Hello, I have made a lot of custom changes to my component (front-end display). I really don't want to have to re-code those again. Is there anything that I can do i.e. remove / edit lines of code to fix the error?

If I update it will I lose any of my configuration, especially to the language / terminology changes I made as the component is built for US cars and we use different terminology here in the UK?

Thanks

UPDATE

I have found the solution here ...

but the site is not work, white sheet, if you turn on the display of errors, then the following appears

librariesjoomlaeventdispatcher.php on line 198

I need to remove this error to update to Joomla 3,8,6

Dear

librariesjoomlaeventdispatcher.php on line 198
I not know what is it and why this happened.
Need check site.
If you self add some changes, you need know PHP

error fix from "nluk100" - this default solution for move to Joomla 3.8.x
We propose update, because we added very many useful features to component.

You may order from us or from any other Joomla developer - fix this error.
But I not know how much this may cost. What other components you have, what also you update, which code you change ....

Could you give to us
full FTP and admin access

Link on website.

Detail description: How reproduce error. Step by step. Detail description: how we may reproduce this.

And if I just give a link download the site archive

I will make the archive and in the archive there will be a working site at 3.8.5 + a folder with a database

set the default password for admin - admin

And you download and try to update Joomla yourself and see an error

Sincerely, Alexander

Dear Alexander

We haven't errors with our last version and with last version of Joomla.

You have changed version of our component, you have self environment ....

I am sorry, please return to backup, before you did update and for you all will work.

Find errors very difficult and not forecast task. find error in code from other- the more difficult. It may ask very much time. Why you not ask this from person who built site for you ?
